The X AIR Android® App allows users to have complete control over the mixing, processing, and effects functions of the BEHRINGER X AIR digital mixer series directly from their Android® tablet or smartphone.

X AIR for Android® provides a comprehensive range of control options for the X18, XR18, XR16, and XR12 mixers. The user interface can be configured for simplified access or expert level editing (S/E), allowing for the mixing of 18 input channels to 12 buses. The app also offers control over the four internal stereo effects processors, all powered by the highly-regarded BEHRINGER X32 audio processing engine.

The X AIR app gives users the freedom to adjust their house mix from any seat in the venue or fine-tune monitor mixes from the stage. Setting up the X AIR app is incredibly straightforward, as all X AIR mixers come equipped with internal access points. Simply choose the X AIR network and connect your Android® device. Once launched, the app will automatically detect your X AIR mixer as a controllable device and even allow you to lock your Android® device to that specific mixer. There's also a demo mode available that doesn't require connection to a BEHRINGER X AIR series mixer. With no additional hardware needed, the X AIR Android® App is perfect for seamless remote mixing applications.

KNOWN ISSUES:

• Note: Starting from version 1.5, support for the former IDCA function has been dropped in favor of the four new mixer-internal DCAs. This change has resulted in significantly lower network traffic and improved app response, particularly when multiple remote control clients are connected to the same mixer (e.g., for personal monitoring).

REQUIREMENTS:

• Compatible with Android® devices running Android® 4.0 or higher (display sizes larger than 5" recommended)
• X AIR 1.5 requires X AIR series mixer firmware V1.11 or higher or can be used in demo mode
